i personally like the style side/ fleet side, the lines are alot cleaner, plus if anyone hits a stepside, i just cracks the plastic/fiberglass and you get screwed, but they are not ugly, i just like the other much better. JMO

Looks like I opened up a can 'o worms with this thread!

Some of these pics look decent, but I still threw up in my mouth everytime I saw a stepside truck (j/k guys)...

Don't like them very much myself, but certainly respect the right for someone else to like them!

I like fleet sides but I like step sides if they are done right. My favorite kind is by far the stake body.

I love my stepside and would not trade for a fleetside ever.

i love 99+ RCSB step sides. i can't stand a stepside on an ext cab. ( sorry for you guys that own them) but thats just my taste. others will disagree. i bought my truck the second it got traded in. ( I work at a chevy dealer.) i thought my truck was a factory freak because it had the 5.3L with 4.10s and G80 but every time a RC stepsode comes in i check the RPO codes and they all seem to have GT5, G80 and 5.3L. was this GM's attempt to make a sport truck?

I like the stepside, like someone else mentioned it looks cool in the rearview, they're a little less common, and I like the tail lights. But unlike the rest, I do like stepsides with a mild lift, nothing more than like 6", where the tire sits in the wheel well, but I think that any truck that has an obscene lift where the tires aren't even in the wheel well looks like *** anyway

I like 'em both, stepsides and fleetsides. I like the stepsides more on the regular cabs tho...don't know why, just do.
