Default Anyone else heard of this? Interior question

Ok so one day I was cleaning out the truck and was detailing the dash, carpet, etc. I happen to look up and the headliner is a totally different color then the rest of the interior. The seats, carpet, dash, steering wheel, EVERYTHING is that dark gray/black color but the headliner, visors, and center storage plastic piece is tan. Nothing else in the truck is tan but that.

Is that something g semi normal or maybe has my interior for the most part been changed since they did do a front end swap? BTW its a 2000 scsb

Oh ok so it is a common thing, I didn't know cause this is the 2nd 98+ Chevy I've owned and my 02 ecsb was all gray even the headliner. Well thanks for answering that question for me! Haha

I think that they started using the light color headliners in 03, my 99 is light grey, but tdrumm's 03 was that light color, and the rest of his interior was grey...

I just thought it was really odd that everything is dark grey and the headliner is tan, I figured it would be either same color or lighter grey. Lol

I'm sure that it was less expensive for GM to go with one neutral color for all of the headliners so that's the route that they went...whatever it takes to save a buck and still keep things acceptable
