Default Any word if GM is bringing back the SS Silverado?

Well, since the death of the SS Silverado there's nothing really out there to buy brand new from Chevy. I mean the SSS was a great truck for ECSB truck, but I feel the 6.0 was underpowered, and I believe the truck was the heaviest between the Ford Lightning and the Dodge SRT-10! I did hear about a NNBS Silvy was at SEMA few years ago with a small block 427 and i hear the sound clip and it sounded awesome! I mean Chevy doesn't have to put the 427 in it, but it would be nice to see some higher HP and Torque numbers from the 6.2L from the factory with using some after market parts, like different heads w/cam and or supercharging! Just didnt know if anyone hear anything about this or even if Ford or Dodge coming out with anything new!

Nothing. Absolutely nothing. No packages, but you can get the 6.2/6l80e in a 2wd extended cab. Which will blow the doors off the old SS. Now if they'd smarten up and offer that combo in a basic regular cab it'd be *******.

Hmm...I thought the 6.2L was only with the 4x4's? Well, if they'll putting the 6.2L in a ecsb 2WD, ill have to test drive one. Thanks man.

The 6.2 in a RCSB with say a factory blower and warranty would probably sell like crazy, I know I would be tempted.

I have the 6.2L in 4x4 and just from my experience it would take a lot of work to get that to hook in 2WD. I have played around launching at the track a few times and just spin.

Just build your own. It will be cheaper and faster.

I'd be happy with a 6.0 in a rcsb, they can keep the 6 speed autos.
