any racing/speeding tickets?

Should have been $480,but I got off with 1 year probation for racing in a school zone. I was in my accord and another little ricer came up and revved his engine at me and it was on. I was doing 70 when we got to the school intersection and our city police chief was sitting at the stop sign. Long story-short, I ended up getting off with a year probation and a week before my probation was up I got pulled over for speeding in Laredo,TX
Had to pay the speeding ticket in TX and my neglegent driving in here in WA.

I got caught about a year and a half ago. Cop pulls me over and tells me " I know what you did give me your license now".He goes back to his car and about 10 minutes later tells me he is going to let me go but I have get the 2 mustangs that ran before us to call him in the morning. If not their would be a warrant for my arrest. I didnt want to take his bluff at the time. So I called the people in the mustang and to my surprise none of them called in. The only guy that kept me out of jail was the lightning that i was racing. I didnt even know the guy that well. So, eventually i went down to the cop station and he let me off of everything but I got a long lecture about street racing. Its worse than a DUI and reckless driving. Its the worse thing you can have on your driving record. Since then I only race at the track.
The cop at the police station however gave me props about beating the lightning but told me not to do it on public roads but at a track.

I was down in Vegas with a few freinds doing a little showing off, After sitting at a red light for a minute, I relized I was WAY to cool to wait for the light to turn green so I stomped on the throttle and ran it. turn the corner my limited slip didn't kick in And I had the one wheel wonder burnout around the corner, got the speedo up past 65 (in town) and seen a bike cop coming from behind. First think he said when he walked up to the window was "Pretty fast tuck hu?" In the end he let me off with a warning.

Not racing related, but I was offroading on state trust land that was clearly marked no trespassing at night with my PIAAs on (very bright, very stupid). Saw some other lights coming my direction and turned off my lights, waited till the other lights were gone, then headed out. Cop was waiting for me in the dark by the entrance. I got handcuffed and read my rights, scared the **** out of me (I was 18 at the time). They let me go, went to court and pled guilty to criminal trespassing to avoid the time for additional court dates, got off with a $300 fine.
Definitely a humbling experience to be handcuffed sitting on the ground and being read my rights. Never offroaded in illegal areas again.

I have been on both sides of the fence. I almost took one today, only about 6 hours ago. I was on a back road and decided I was going to top out the bike. I wound it up to 165 (still pulling hard in 5th and still had another gear) but something just didn't feel right so I slowed it back down to the 60mph speed limit. About a mile later I passed a highway patrol. I would hate to think what kind of fine that woulda been !!
I used to be a cop and I wrote some pretty big tickets, but I gave a lot of breaks. As long as the guy was cool and not drunk/high I would usually just tell them to slow it down. Your attitude has a lot to do with it in most cases.

I know its not a the same but i got a ticket from running from the police on my 4 wheeler. I wasn't really running but turns out doing 80 down a gravel road with a cop behind you is considered running. So i got no insurance and running for the 5.0 when we noticed he was behing us and stopped. Not the funnest ordeal i have ever had to deal with.
