Does anyone remember the 5 cylinder head some guy was selling on here a while back? Might have been a head for the V10. It was prototype stuff he had and I don't think he was supposed to have it.

Golden Velvet I remember reading that article also. Pretty sweet!

XLR8NSS, Ya I think Louis gets dibs on that sort of stuff. Lucky punk
On the 5cyl. head, that was funny. The guy didn't even know what he had. I bet the person who sold it was a disgruntled GM worker who just auctioned off their stuff

Are you sure that wasn't an I-5 head?

It could've been.

It was funny that the guy didn't even know what it was.

Hey Ryan, since you're near there, just head out to the proving grounds in Mesa. You'll see all kinds of good stuff. I saw the SSR, Malibu Maxx, CTS-V, H2 truck all before they came out. They kept the C6 very concealed though. You're a student, so just ask for a tour. It's like disney land for us car nerds. They're testing the 06 and 07's for sure!

That head was NOT and I-5 head. It was definatley for a "V" engine. Plus didn't that dude have a block that said 7.0L on it. That was before anybody knew wtf the LS7 was going to be.

I think the GMC version is ugly. The grille looks like mini-blinds to me.
