Default Am I This Supid

I bought some Anco replacement wiper blades and the clips that connect to the arms didnt fit and the blades didnt do the best job cleaning the glass....so I went and bought some rain-x replacement wiper blades today and the clips dont fit on them either. I have to be missing something. The arm is to big to fit in the clip. Will only OEM work?

Check the instructions on the box, the rainx ones are different than every other wiper blade out there, you slide the blade into the hook and fold it like it is going to go against the windshield, when you fold them they lock in place there is no clip to hold them.

some wipers come with adaptors for the larger arms. was there any other small pieces that came with the wipers?

you don't use the additional adapters that come with the rain-x blades.

I just replaced the ones on my car and it took a little while to figure it out...guess I don't have the greatest mechanical apptitude going! These are a brand I've never heard of...had Bosch before.
