Question Alternator ?'s

I'm looking at upgrading my current 105 amp to the 130 amp or maybe the 200 amp if the price is right. I'm looking at a few just have a question about it. They are saying that it will fit 96 to current year Suburbans. If so wouldn't it fit 99 to current year trucks? Has the style and setup of the alternator changed from 96 to now? I found an awesome deal on a 200 amp and I want to get it but not to sure if it will work.

Thanks for the help,
Steven

You'll need for the 99+ trucks. If you look at the case you should easily be able to see the differences between the newer style alt and the older ones.

Ones for the Vortec 305/350 I am about 98% sure won't work.
