Alright know this question has been asked over and over again but my buddy still wanted me to post up. What crank trigger/ relucter ring does his truck have? Its a 2006 5.3 Silverado Flex Fuel. I told him 24x but I guess he keeps hearing 58x. Im almost 99.999% sure im correct but just want to make sure because were going to pick up a 03 6.0 this Sunday and hes worried it wont work.

This is what I know
07 Classic and down are 24x
07+ NNBS are 58x
Only trucks that are 58x prior to 07 are the LS2 SSR trucks which is 05+

Is this info correct?

58x only comes in the gen 4 stuff and the ls2. NNBS trucks are 58x, pre-nnbs is 24x

Just look at the cranksensor on the side of the block. If it is blace he has 24x. If it is a lighter color it is the 58x.
