I have a Prestige alarm system with keyless entry. It's ok, but I'm sure there is better. It tends to freak out every now and then for no reason. I don't much about them so just look around. I know Viper used to be good but don't know if they are still around.

Keep a pitbull in the front seat, that'll deter most would-be thieves (but then you gotta clean pitbull slobber off of your interior)

Get a Python. Not the system. A breathing moving one. You saw how well it worked on "Gone in 60 Seconds". Or you could get any one that lets you record a voice message that screams out "I like it in the butt". I think either one would keep would be thieves away from your truck.

alarms are useless. 4/5 of my trucks have been broken into multiple times and every truck had an alarm(luckily none of them wanted the truck itself). every time they got exactly what they wanted except for on one of my trucks. the third person who broke in found out that there was nothing left to steal

but serously, my dad owns a business called turn key column repair. he fixes the steering columns on stolen vehicles in the houston area (business is good). every day he fixes cars with aftermarket alarms on them. if they really want it they will get it.

when your walking through the walmart parking lot and you hear an alarm going off do you look or just keep on walking...

How about the good old horn hooked to the dome light trick??? Hide a switch some where to turn it off and you’re good to go. lol I agree with TXsilverado, if they want it they will get it. Alarms just keep the honest people out. lol
