Default air bags poppin!???!!!

aiyt guys! does this really happen often? aiyt,.... my boy told me that his friend's, boy's , truck's front air bags popped while he was cruizin' on the freeway. he caused a major traffic on the freeway coz his car was slammed on the road and couldn't drive it. i think he blocked 3 lanes. anyway, i thought bags are really strong? now i'm debating if i should still get em...
anyone here expercienced that yet? hopefully not.....

'Bags are pretty strong depending on which ones you get, but **** does happen. The biggest problem with bags is sometimes they rub on something and it ultimately leads to their demise. Thats why its a good idea to make sure there is nothing around for them to rub against. Its one of the things that goes with owning a modified vehicle; which is why not everybody does it. Although a stock vehicle can give you just as much trouble. If you want to do it and can do it then go ahead. Don't let somebody's bad experience keep you from doing something you want to do. There are plenty of people that have bagged their ride and have next to no problem.

It's funny yet sad how once you start modifying your car/truck it's never the same. More rattles, move NVH, and sometimes extra parts

it's all abou the install, i've done several bag setups and never had a problem with a bad leak or bag pop. aome applications require you to cut the spring cup the nbs fusslize frames do not they are very reliable if you get the right components
