4.8 and tranny for $1000+shiping, if you want it prety much dressed i would need to know(like intake, injectors, TB, starter, alternator, accesories..) probably want more like $1300 for it all dressed up. if the auto 4wd transfer case wont work on the 4l80e i will have that to sell too.

Hey Jim, save yourself a few bucks. Have the PCM that comes with this motor switched over to the VIN off your old truck, and use your existing LS1 Edit license. I think you already have ver 1.2 or better for it. Don't upgrade to the 03 model and waste the cash. There really aren't any better features. Plus, you won't have to buy the speartech cable and you can program it in the vehicle. A dealership can hook up a TECH2 to a vehicle to upload the program to the PCM.

 

i know they can reflash but isn't that a complete reflash and not just the vin number, the old 5.3 program wont work with the new 03 stuff i dont think, drive by wire and no cruze stuff, other diferences i am sure.

i got an idea, why dont you lend my that benchtop cable for about a month? i could overnight it back to you if you needed it all the sudden.
