My module did the same thing. My module went out shortly after. I had this guy rebuild it for me and I have had no problem.

He is a great guy to deal with.

Thats what is was doing and then it just stayed on forever and I took the fuse out and sent it to him and a week later I got it back.

I couldnt tell any difference in the brakes unless I had to get on em hard

thats true. the same thing happened to wifeys tahoe. its like a 900 dollar part. then a couple hundred for labor. i got lucky ..the dealer service guy got GM to pay for it. so i got it fixed for 235 bucks. man i was happy. depending on your mileage. they may do the same for you.

Hmmmm 235 or 160 (with shipping)

Ill take the 160 and its a easy swap --- Right on top of the frame under your drivers seat(under the truck not inside)

My module shorted out also...the ABS light came on when I was driving, and when I pulled over I heard the pump motor running. I diagnosed it as the module and was able to have my buddy Goodwill the part for me and I ended up paying about $250. (which was a good price considering the part was about $900 as mentioned above). About 6 months later I heard about the modulemaster guy who does it for $150 or whatever. If the problem ever re-occurs I'm going that route.

I decided to test it the other day. Locked the brakes at about 45mph for a second. Oops
