I still have the original bed cover in my truck, and it has rubbed some paint off around the edges. It also has a couple good scratches on the outside of the bed and tail gate.
I want to get rid of the bed cover and get the bed repainted, but i'm not sure if they can get the color to match up good and not look bad. Its dark blue metalic, and when i had the cab painted they had to do it twice to get it to match, and even now sometimes you can tell a slight difference.
I dont want to get the whole truck painted either. To much to over spray up front, plus it was done last June.
Thanks for any help.

Kinda why i was asking. I got into a good fender bender last May and when i first went to pick it up they just painted the hood and fenders. It didnt match the rest of the truck at all, so i told them to paint the whole truck to get it to match. The insurane company said they would only pay for the cab to be painted, so i went with that. It looks good, but in some light it looks a little different than the bed.
