Default '99 Silverado Odometer Question

I am all too aware that the LCD display on the 99-02 Silverado's is a piece. Mine has crapped out completely and I am unable to get the mileage or hours off of it. I am getting a rebuilt one to put on it, but would like to try to be as accurate as possible the the actual hours and mileage. Is there any way to pull these via the OBD-II interface? Or am I going to have to just guess? If I do have to guess, anybody have a good ballpark for hours on a truck used mostly for commuting with 125k?

TechII can get the engine timer info for you....the mileage is not obtainable. Just remember, 4500 engine hours does not equate to 25000 miles

Mine did/does...just hold the reset button with the key off and it displays the run hours. I made sure that the guy who updated the mileage for my Denali cluster did the run hours also
