Default 99 silverado/34" rad

Does a 99 silverado have a 34" rad?

I measured it. Fender to fender it is very close to 34". Defintely not a 28".

I was told 99 did not have 34" rads.

It is the old body style.

Truck is a 4.8 motor with a 5 speed.

I want to install some 05 electric fans.

If it's got a 4.8 then it is the NBS

Vortec trucks
96-99 OBS
99-07 NBS
07+ NNBS

And your truck has the 28" radiator. I believe the measurement is done by the alluminum part of the radiator, not including the plastic end tanks.

What all do I need for a 34" rad conversion? Just a rad? Or are there other supports?

Just the radiator, the holes are already in your core support. bolts and all will work. I didnt even change hoses when I put my 34" radiator in...

measure just the core of the radiator...

Ya, beat me to it; if it's a 4.8... I didn't know the measurement part, part as u & silver-mod-o said. Makes sense, everyone always mentions core. I shoulda thought of that.

If your gettin 05 radiator, might as well snag fans too. If price is right!

That was just the fans, right? Or was Nelson's harness included too?
