99-07 gm truck weight reduction

haha I actually ran my old ext cab with the spare in the back, it was faster cause it helped traction. its a win/ lose for me....... i weighed in on race day at 5600
didn't even take out sub box, but now I have a reg cab, I hope the full center console is lighter than the jump seat, and the spare is in the bed for quick removal if I can get over traction issues. Moving the battery to the back, and shift the weight you have around for better purpose.

LOL no doubt. I dont know why people freak out when you say launch in 4WD. If you arnt making huge power most of the time you will be fine..I mean you floor it in mud, why not on concrete?
I have a buddy who wont launch in 4wd and i can get him off the line everytime.
