99-01 Powerdyne Supercharger for sale
#1
Hi. This is my first post here, but I am a regular over on Corvette Forum. I have a 99 Silverado with a powerdyne on it. I am getting rid of the truck and putting it back to stock. It is listed on ebay at http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...em=1876554118. Let me know if you have any questions. I would like to get $1650 for the unit. Thats a lot less than new!!

Hi Malibu Vette
We keep the for sale threads over in the GM Truck Appearance section. I'm going to move this over there. Sound like a good deal.

Brandon, They claim 6 psi with the stock pulley. I have seen 7-8 pulling my trailer up a hill. A friend redesigned the tensioner system to eliminate slip and had to put a larger pulley on to keep the boost down. Ihope that helps.

Brandon - I've never messed with a powerdyne but, there are a few guys over in the FI section that have on fbodies. I don't know anything about the truck kit.
I know on the cars they are a decent kit IF you like to do a little tinkering but, every supercharger kit is like that.
The main problem with the Fbody kits is the cooling situation because the stock fans are removed for less powerful fans. I don't think that would be a concern at all on the trucks.

Hi,
The blower has around 15k miles on it. There is no issues with it at all. I did not have to upgrade the fuel pump or injectors. The FMU seems to be adequate. he program that powerdyne supplies is junk, so you are not missing out on anything by having to send your computer to a real pro like Ed Write or Zimmer. I have heard Mike Morgan does alright too. Hope this helps.
