97 suburban randomnly dying
my 97 burb randomnly dies, then takes forever to crank back up. i have good charge on battery, have gas, i don't know what the problem is. my service light is on cause i have a bad mass air flow sensor, but would that be the problem? or fuel pump?

There is a special tool called a "Fuel Sender Lock Nut Wrench" to take off the locking ring on the top of the tank that you can probably rent from an auto parts store, but if you are in bind you can use a brass chisel (no sparks) or a hard piece of wood and tap the locking ring loose on top of the tank. Don't want to ignite the fuel vapors inside the tank.
