Whats up guys! I am looking to buy a 96 1500 with a bad tranny. I wanted to know if anybody could tell me what kind of transmission this truck has.

Probably the Getrag 5 speed.

 

It would be the New Venture 3500 I am pretty sure

 

I had that in my 92 . . . . and it does not like abuse !
