What mods would you recommend to do to a 92 4x4 silverado ECSB? Any way to tune these? He's wanting to change the intake but i'm not sure of a good one for that year/style. Basically looking for simple mods with the most gain.

They are tune-able, just not sure who exactly does tuning for them besides PCMforLess. I believe that they have a removable PROM that can be updated, and they're not AS tune-able as newer OBDII stuff. I know that you mentioned simple mods, but for a little more (or a lot more, depending on how you look at it) dough, you can get a 383 crate motor complete from intake to oil pan straight from GM. It's in the GM Performance Parts catalog...I'm sure that you could find it on google.

 

Hypertech has a chip for it, but Brain at TBI chips can make a custom chip.Go to his web site and it has a list of cheap mods that work.
