Its an obdII pcm that is fully hacked. Something you could tune with hp tuners.

So it's running on stock manifolds/exhaust? If so, LTs and a bigger y-pipe would be my first move.

I would've bet money I read a thread somewhere (fullsizechevy, maybe) that someone was running tbi with a 411. I can't find it though.

I'm guessing it won't b/c of trying to control two "injectors"? I know the old pcms have a mpfi mode.

The Ultimate 88-98 OBS Performance Toolbox

This thread is old, but still has some good information. I had a '88 rscb with a L05 in it. It had a h/c/i setup on it. Ran alright for what it was. Could never get a proper tune for it. Getting it tuned right is going to be your biggest hurdle with mods. There are some mail order tuners out there. Seems like a bitch to work with a tuner that way though. And the equipment required to make it easy to data log, and recalibrate the pcm isn't that cheap.

I doubt you want to dump a lot of money into this truck. I wouldn't want to dump a lot into a sbc, having a ls based ride. But just putting this up, just to put it up I guess.

Edelbrock.com - Electronic Fuel Injection - Pro-Flo XT - Introduction

Thought it was cool. Would make me second guess a ls swap, if I had an obs.

Good luck man
