my 84 caprice start knocking yesterday im thinking about a 4.8/5.3 how hard would it be. what would you all do the car is a every day driver still driveing it i guess i will till it trows a rod what would you guys do if your where in my shoes as far as motors go

Your wiring is so different....carb,distributor etc compared to a 99-up truck. why not get a rebuilt sb/lb that'll be compatible with your wiring,plumbing,etc ?

Maybe some others'll chime in or you could do some searches on it.
