Default 8.5 inch girdle

Whats the strongest baddest girdle or rearend cover out there for the 8.5" 10 bolt? Are there any good ones? I'm gonna change the gear oil this summer and I might as well change the cover while I'm at it.

Are there any girdles for the 8.5". If so whats a good place to get one?

Thanks.

Will the 8.5" cover work on our 8.6" rear?

Thunder racing has the T&A cover with the bolt thru stud kit. I had one on my Olds before I swapped it out to a 9" Ford and the T/A cover is one sweet piece. I want to get one myself, and maybe have it powdercoated before I install it to keep it nice looking. That one BlownChevy has also looks bad ***, but check out Thunder on the T/A also. Depends.....Some say the T/A cover because it pre-loads the bearing caps....others say the mag hytech just because.....

Kinda a toss up IMO. If I were to buy one....T/A.
