Car hauler was unloading some '09 crewcabs yesterday with 5.3 & six speed. Anybody drive one yet?

i've been waiting to price one on gmc.com, but they never came out,
how much is the pricetag on one of those, mine is going in for a 09 for sure.


edit. looks like gmc.com has them to build now..

This is the cheapest one they have. There was a LTZ for right at $40K.

I might buy a chevy again! No more 4l60/variant good god it has taken them a long time!

Doubt that will happen. Drum brakes are cheaper to produce and protect the brakes better in the rear from road grime. Disc on the rear add little extra stopping power and they won't justify spending the extra money for such a minimal gain.

Personally i like the look of disc all the way around, but i can't see them switching again.
