Cool 6 lug to 5 lug Conversion w/C6 Motorsports

Sup guys, been a while since i drove my truck, well since i was knocked off a motorcycle by a hit and run douche bag in a jaguar. Anyways, i got a set of brand new black C6 Motorsports 19x10 rear and 18x8.5 front pretty cheap. I ordered a pair of wheel adapters from adaptitusa.com (skulte.com is another place that sells em) first to see if they would work and to test them out.

The adapters are 2" thick, 6lug (6x5.5) to 5lug (5x4.75). The factory wheel studs/bolts are too long so then will need to be trimed with a grinder or something.

**EDIT** PICS ADDED!

Waiting on the other 2 adapters to arrive...

Here you can see how much space there is between the adapter and the rotor cause of the long factory studs...

So I cut off the tip with a wheel cutter thing...

Not very far since there isnt hardly any backspacing on those rims.

If the adapter and the rotor have that much space between them, that is probably not a very good idea. Just my .02

that seems like a big space to put between your wheels and the rotor.

Yep.
I was gonna do this too so that I could run big n little's without spending alot of money on custom rims. Decided against it because I couldn't find alot of info about people runnin spacers. So I ordered the Bogarts. Deffinately lookin forward to seeing what these are gonna look like on the truck! Let's see some pics with em on!!
