Cruise around on www.Car-part.com. Thats where I found mine. I just kept dicking a place around and finally got a good price.

I've been on there a lot. And for that many miles you must have done a lot of dicking around. May be some suc....... nevermind.

I see beating a bush.... The seller was a women. Sorry I had to.

Did you just start calling on the motors? Or was the yard near by you? Did they charge a core? I just haven't had much luck getting the prices down via email. And can't seem to find any near me. I have tried every yard around me and I have some friends at them but they can't seem to come up with a very good price either.

Just call them up or email them and low ball them. Give them some off the wall price and see what they do. Worst they can do is say no. I just dealt with them through email. I never wanted to take the time to call. But I made sure they provided compression numbers and such. Plus I took a borescope with me when I picked the motor up so I could check out the cylinder walls. I did bitched about the core charge and they waived it.
