6.0 or not
hey guys, heres the situation, I have a 5.3 with 150k on it. Starting to get some problems out it, oil leak, knocking and is starting to act slugish. Ive already bought a 216/224 cam, tt300 stall and headers that i was getting ready to install. My question is i found a 6.0 with no acces. with only 12k miles for 1500, is this a good deal or would it be better, (cheaper) to just fix my motor before the mods?

Great price but like stock said try to get em down a couple hundred, and remember there is no replacement for displacement! I got my 6.0 w/ 4l80e, harness, computer and they even pulled it for me for 1200$ but i was already gonna go through the motor so milage had no factor to it..... 12k miles is very reasonable

As 03tahoe22 said, "**** thats a steal to me..... I paid $1300 for a LQ9 with 65k and i thought i got a deal!". His quote sounds more in line, but it varies by region & if they're sittin on a bunch of them.
