I have full warranty im thinking of takeing the filter system off before going to the dealer.

IAC valve maybe. Could be you got some moisture in it and its frozen. Try taking it off and cleaning it.

it's very possible that they would void the warrenty but all dealers are differant. honestly it's not worth not taking it off and having them void it because if they do void the warrenty it would more than likely be a nationwide thing meaning if you remove it after it was voided and try goin to a differant dealer you would still be out of luck cause the comp says NONO basically.
so remove it be safe and get it fixxed up.

It sounds like the cold air filter has spit some oil or debris back onto the Mass Air Sensor to be....I see this alot at my shop. Especially if you over oil the filter. If it's not the MAF Sensor, you may have to have them take a look at the TAC Module for your throttle body. It replaces the Throttle position sensor that the older ones had. Being a GM Dealer and Service center, I can say with pretty good faith, that if you leave the cold air kit on the truck and it turns out to be the cause of the problem, then they'll make you pay for it instead of warranty.

Well Iput the stock intake back on the truck took it to the dealer I had no problems with warrenty issues the truck runs great now. Turns out a o2 sensor had low voltage. Bank 1 fuel trim was lean and also a misfire on bank 1. Sensor 1 oxygen sensor was replaced. Thanks for the tips glad all is good with engine now.
