4L80E swapped V-MAX torque converter issue

So I’m home with the truck now, got two p0894 codes on my way back. Trans is shifting hard.
I believe the P0894 is being set and sending the ecm into failsafe where it is maxing line pressure to prevent slip.
each time you reset the code and start driving it’s fine besides being sluggish and slipping the verter.

i think I’m going to pull the trans, slap a converter in and hope for the best. May install an hd2 shift kit at the same time and have the transmission gone through.

whats everyone think?
Can anyone recommend a good converter? I need it to be good for towing as well. But I’m throwing a mild cam at the truck soon also.

was thinking about this one.. opinions?

That converter is going bad and generating A lot of heat in the process.

Ended up going with a PI triple disc billet converter. 2800 stall. It’s the ****! Trans is good to go
