4l60 or 4l80 with same mods-which is faster/better

Brad supposedly knows his **** ... I think when I talked to him h was a little pricey, but if he'll back his words, it would be worth it in my opinion. Knowing what I know though ... I wouldn't back that with a 60e though.

I really like the gear ratios on the 4L80E for a high torque motor,on a stock 5.3 you need the 3.06 first gear to get a good launch.On the 427cid motor you are planning the 2.48 first gear would be a plus with the closer gear spacing making up for any ineffecency the transmission is supposed to have.
