Is that your "fill station"?

How do you fill up the tank? Is it with the heating and cooling meathod?

that is a nx filling station. i dont have to heat or cool bottles anymore. just hook it up and turn on the pump.

it has been working great but i am only geting about 45lb's out of a 65lb bottle. i am 99% sure it has been because i have been using the upright bottles with a syphon tube in them and the tube doens't go all the way to the bottom. i hope to get all 65lb's out easily with the inverted bottle and no syphon tube.

on my last upright bottle it stoped pumping about 45lb's. i unhooked the hose and just let the bottle drain itself. there was no liquid nitrous coming out, it was mostly air. after a few minutes you could see the bottom 10" of the bottle frosting up. it was where the liquid was and was boiling off and freezing up the bottle. that tells me the syphon tube was 10" from the bottom of the bottle.

So I take it that the 408 is going in, and not the 4.8.

I thought for a second that you had a nitrous-fed 4.8 powering your air compressor.

LMAO!

So Parish, how could i get ahold of a filling station? Up here the only place to get N2O is the track, and to fill a 10# bottle its more than $60
I could make some money off the other Military guys, and local ricers.

ouch. i sell nitrous for $3.50/lb and make about $10 per fill. if i can get all 65lb's i will be doing a little better. the cheapest place around here to get nitrous is $4.25/lb so i am saving people a little money. the pump was expensive. something like $800, i have probably just about paid for the pump by now. if you factor in the time to go pick up the big bottles i am not making much money but it is kind of fun. keeps me in the loop even when my truck is down and i am not going out.

being able to keep my bottles toped off is a huge benifit. i hated going in for fills and then never knowing how much i used and then runing out 1/2 way thru the night.

you will want to call some gas companys and see how much they sell the big bottles for. dont count on any more than 50lbs out of a 65lb bottle and see if it is worth your time.
