I don't want to say it's impossible, because it's not...but it's pretty damn close. Even with all the above mentioned mods, that things going to be pretty un-streetable and it still won't make the torque to move the weight. The only other way around that is some SERIOUS weight reduction.

its going to have to be a FULLY built motor... big heads, huge cam, good intake, and exuahst and a badass tune...

big stall and good gears, weight reduction, traction, spot-on tune... like has been said above, it wont be any good to drive around but it would make some good numbers. but you dont see many CC's in the 12's as it is... much less a N/A 4.8 CC... Good luck on this one man... LOL...

I think some of the chevy CC's got 4.8's all of the GMC's are 5.3's.

Getting 12's would be extremely difficult for all the reasons mentioned. You could always spray it until it blows up, that might get you there.

There are a ton a 4.8 cc on the lots around here, they run dealer specials on them for $22k-23k.

In fact there are only 3-4 5.3s on the lots and you have to order a 6.0

You're right, I'd have to order a 6.0

do it!!!!!!!!!! i think it would be sweet to show a 4.8s potential. everyone gets a 6.0. i think its possible. just let me know when you do so i can do the same to my rcsb so i can do 11s or high 10s.
