What about a rcsb w/ heavy duty tow package powererd by a 6.2L or LS2? That way it apears to be more of a gimic truck to out power and have the highest tow ratings of any 1/2 ton truck made. Toyota isnt claiming a sport truck with there rcsb w/381hp,401tq. Its just a shorter version of the big truck. I think it would pass the insurance institute as long as it wasnt lowered or have a sport suspention. Just come off as a regular truck w/ optional 6.2L for towing.

Just went to the Toyota site. For $29,000 you can get a RCSB Tundra with the sport apearance package all color matched, 5.7L 381hp/401tq, 6 speed auto, fully loaded. I hate to say it but It looks like a damn nice truck, especialy for the price. If the QC 4x4 does 0-60 in 6 seconds, how fast could a stock rcsb 2wd be? That may just be the FIRST naturaly asperated truck to run 13's stock!!!!!

That would be sad if Toyota was the first automaker to put out the first 13 second N/A truck....

GM has NEVER stepped up to the plate to compete with the Lightning, or any sporty 1/2 ton PU.

The 454 SS from 1990 was a gas guzzling joke, and the SSS shouldn't be even considered as being in the same class ( being ECSB and mostly AWD)

What about the new GTO, yes or no, maybe? If yes, anything like the Judge?

Thanks.
