I was at the dealer this morning getting my AC fixed and they had a new Solstice GTP. It is a 2.0L 260hp/260tq turbo. Its a sweet looking little car, and max tq comes in at just 2500rpms! Rear wheel drive too.
Anyway, talking to one of the sales guys he said next year the regular GTP will be up to 277hp and they will have a Roadster Coupe with a hard top and a 325hp 2.0L turbo. DAMN!
That thing is going to be one fast little car with that much power, and aparently the turbo has no lag to hit max tq at only 2500 rpms. It stays flat to nearly redline.
Thats one bad *** motor...............

Sorry Guys...... No Plans Yet For 325.... Taht Number Is Shooting A Little High For A Street 4 Cyl. Im Sorry.... The Car Will Be An Underrated 277 Actually More Like 285 But You See My Point.
325 Is Possible... But It Has Not Ben Confirmed As Reliability Is A Concern

What I'm looking forward to seeing, is the Pontiac G8. From what I've heard, it a US version of Australia's Holden Monaro based car RWD with the LS2. Kind of like the GTO, only with better styling.
