I'm hoping for a 6.2L option across the lineup like the VortecMax 6.0 last generation. I don't want an SS, but a 4x4 extended cab Z60 with the 6.2L.

Well, a guy can hope can't he?

I doubt it as an option.

There should be an SS though as you can get the GMC Serria Denali with the 6.2L But if they build an SS it should be powered by a LS7 it would be better than the L92 anyway!

There's suppose to be releasing an extremely limited edtion truck with the all mighty LS7. Im not sure if thier calling it a specail edition ss, but It's gonna come with the option of either single cab short bed or an extended cab like the current ss. Thier only gonna make about 500 of them and non of them are gonna be emissions legal in California... (DAMN!!!) check out the ss concept that was at SEMA this year its gonna resemble that one.

Haha.... Yeah There Is Gonna Be Something "similar" To What They Had At The Sema Show...

What That Is... Is Another Story Entirely...

There Will Be A Few Options You Guys Will Like In The Newer Trucks.... Just Give Them Time To Roll Them Out

All I want to know is does it have a bed and come with a 6.2L? I hope its not just a QC option. RCSB 6.2L would be sweet.

It's 2007 already, GM loyals have been screaming for at least the past 7 years for something like this. They teased us back in 02 with the RCSB SS with a 6spd and then they dropped the ball. They killed all affordable V8 RWD vehicles except for trucks. We needed something then. How much longer are we supposed to wait? Until their bankrupt? That'll probably come sooner than an SRT-10 killer. This whole website is full of guys that are creating trucks similar to what they wished for when they bought it. Big ci RCSB's with 6spds, steep gears, FI etc.

If the bean counters have more pull then what the public wants via focus groups, then retro a friggin' Canyon/Colorado like a Syclone and your done. The old guys will get on it because it's retro and fast. The young guys will dig it because it's a turbo AWD vehicle that's fast. The bean counters will like it, because it'll knock down 30mpg. Aftermarket will be happy too. World's fastest truck...again.

Rant off.

I'd just be happy to see the L76 be an option in the regular cab. There isn't a reason in hell that it's not.
