Default 2007up cathedral truck intake on my 04 6.0

What is my cheap option for making this work fellas?

The situation I am in, is that after a hot cam swap, with the new engine, my injectors and maxed out 100% duty cycle at 6100 RPM. Between the injectors and the stock cathedral truck intake, it is really holding my 3/4 ton back.

I know a 07 up truck intake would be great, but are the injectors that come with it old enough? Is there a simple solution to make a 90mm TB work?

I'm sure I should be shifting at 6700-6800 or so. This has caused me to get my *** drug by just a little when the combination should have screamed by the other guy. I didn't build the truck for racing but sure don't want to get drug for no reason.

Find a set of felxfuel injectors with the newer style intake and you should be fine flex fuel typically have higher flowing injectors may need harness adaptors depending on connector you have now

All you have to do is to het the flex fuel injectors since they have high injectors.

What about the ability to run the 90 MM TB? I totally forgot about the FF injectors on the newer truck. Hopefully direct connect for my harness.

That's what I figured. Any heads up on how to tell if the newer intake is FF or not?

And I'll have to figure out what adapter and who sells the cheapest 90mm TB.

It is a DBC TB I assume? Don't think I'll get away with a 90MM DBW TB for cheap. I know it will be worth it when all the **** is swapped and retuned.

yup, Thanks wolftrck99! I e got two sets of FF injectors, which are the uscar connection type... I believe the gmt800 trucks came with two different types of injectors from the factory... One kind was the tiny Delphi injector connections, and I'm not sure on the other one, so you'll have to run adapters for the injector connections if you have the tiny Delphi injectors
