Yeah it was a new ecu so i had to re-license it.
The first tune had changes to the ETC table, which apparently corrupted the first/original ecu according to hptuners support. So got a new ecu from the same gen vehicle, relicensed it, "read" the vehicle, got the tune uploaded, and it cranks over with no dtc's, but it only cranks for 3 seconds and has no spark/fuel...as if it in in that security mode lock.

I know vats is disabled, but try turning the key on for about 10 minutes turn it off for i think its 30 sec then turn it back on for 10 minutes, basically perform a key relearn and see if that fixes it.... Worth a shot.... Dont have exact procedure in front of me but that is fairly close

It is acheivable, personally not sure how in hptuners unless it has something to do wuth doing a write entire.... That i do believe should change the vin but i am in no way an expert on hptuners.... But i know it can be done...

Doing some more digging, think I found it.
connect vehicle
"Change Vin" from the flash menu
enter new vin and click commit
wait 15 sec after change has completed
turn ign off for 30 sec
turn ign on for 30 sec
turn ign off for 30 sec
turn ign on for 30 sec
new vin is now stored
I will keep the thread posted. haha. Thank you Wolf for hanging in there with me!
