Default 2003 silverado LS2 throttle body swap

I'm collecting parts for the TBSS / NNBS intake swap... I've searched and searched and can not come up with a positive answer...

I want to know if the LS2 90mm throttle body will work on my truck. I've been told it's possible to use a 2002 corvette tac module and throttle body on a 2003 silverado.

I'm trying to avoid the X-Link adapter...

Thanks

Thank you for your help... So I need a 2005 corvette throttle body and a TAC module from a 2002...? Will any other year TAC and throttle body work?

I am only aware of the 2002 working, I am not sure why that year in particular. I have been running mine that way with the Vette throttle body a good 13 years or so

Not to hijack, but as I will be acquiring a L33 and looking at using a TBSS intake, I guess getting ones hands on a 2002 TAC is best done used? Rockauto, where it seems parts are usually the cheapest, lists a 2002 truck TAC at $193 AFTER the core charge...

So I guess if you can't find it used, it's barely cheaper than the x-link?

Yes, but after being stranded on the other side of town because of a failed x-link I will never buy one again, not to mention the time it took me to figure out it was actually the x-link that failed and there money spent having a c-5 throttle body overnighted to me so I don't miss any work. I think it is a good product but I have heard of lots of failures.

Ah gotcha. Does one use a 2002 truck TAC then or need one from a C5?

Is there a list somewhere that shows which throttle bodies will work with which TACs? I'm just wondering now as I saw a TBSS intake that was going to come with a 87mm throttle body. I'm just wondering I suppose what all I might have to acquire, or if say the 87mm works with my 2006 TAC, then would I really care about a 90mm+ TB on my daily driver?

Is there some odd way to tell? I've heard people reference the TBs by gold or silver blade also...
