2003 6.0 SS Truck-battery disharge problem
#1
Truck is a 2003 SS 6.0 Truck all stock besides a k&n intake , minor computer tune and a magnaflow muffler...... it had head gaskets replaced and since the day of finishing the job the truck will not hold charge while setting over night or for any descent length of time really, it will be dead in the morning. Is it possible a ground was not hooked back up? I noticed there were some threaded holes in the back of the passenger side head, none of which had bolts or any ground wires attached but the drivers side head had one bolt and some wires grounded...Any thoughts?

I don't see how a missing ground is going to drain your battery...you need to get an ammeter in series with the negative batt cable and check for a draw. Anything more than 50 milliamps is too much. If you find a draw, start pulling fuses until the draw falls into an acceptable range, then you've found the circuit at fault. It's also possible that the shop that did the head gaskets left the key on and dis-charged your battery beyond the point of no return.
