2002 LM7 intake manifold swap to TBSS
I've been looking around for a guide on swapping intake manifolds on my 2002 Silverado with the 5.3 engine to a TBSS intake manifold. I have the manifold already but nothing else. I also already have flex fuel sensors installed. I know I need an adapter to run a 3 bolt throttle body and a throttle body to match the inlet, just not sure about fuel rails.

Use the search there is some great info here and elsewhere, Google it. Glenn`s Auto Performance has some good info. I just did this swap last week, have not run it yet tho, doing a turbo install as well. I had to change my MAP sensor and make a new bracket to hold it down, Bought a throttle cable bracket that seems to work well, you will have to delete your EGR. I used the Evap Solenoid that came attached to fuel rails on TBSS intake, easy to modify the original Evap tube to fit.

Your 2002 probably has the return fuel system. Most use TBSS fuel rails and a Corvette fuel filter (regulator) for returning fuel to the tank. This leaves the fuel lines jammed against the firewall even after modifying (bending) the TBSS rails inlet.
I watched a SnyderTron 3000 video on YouTube where he used the old style return rails with the vacuum referenced regulator on a TBSS intake install. I asked him how he was able to fit the old rails... here was the reply:
