Default 2002 Denali: How much to lower with 22's???

Hey guys, I had a question regaurding the amount to lower the denali.

I am planning on doing some 22 or 23 inch wheels here in about a month's time, and waswondering: How much should I lower the vehicle? A buddy has an Escy on 22's and he is runing 2" drop shackles in theback, and a custom setup up front....

What should I go with? Thanks for your help!

how is he running 2in drop shackles in the back?
they dont have leafsprings back there. no leafs = no hangers/shackles. Am i right?

the 99's were the old body style, they had leafs. the new style is linked with coil springs. djm makes a 3 inche kit try them

You don't think Iwould have any clearance/rubbing issues with a 3" drop? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />

Sleeper: Hehehehe, <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> I have thought about that, but I dont want to go that in-depth.

Thanks all!

If you runn a 22 or a 23 you should be ok, as long as you dont superceed the overall stock tire height by about an inch, given you have the right offset rim. good luck
