Default 2002 Chevy Silverado v6-v8 swap with nv3500

Recently did a v6-v8 swap on 2002 Chevy Silverado. Truck had the 4.3 with nv3500. Wanted to keep 5 speed got every thing bolted up and working. Problems that I am having are truck will not go over 1800-2000 rpm driving and at idle. Just trying to see if anyone else is having this problem and what they did to fix it thank you !

What did you do for the tuning on it?

There is an abuse mode in most calibrations that kicks in at 1,800 and will limit everything.

I just disabled everything in hp tuners that had to do with the auto transmission must of either missed something or turned wrong thing off. So you’re saying I need to disable the abuse mode?

even with the previous sensor, it's different than the one in the 4.3
HPT can perform a crank relearn, and most engine swaps need one. my guess is that will help.
