2001 4x4 Tahoe..Changing Oil Pan Gasket

did it today..pretty simple..4 bolts on the diff and a xmember under the pan..still ******* leaks..i have no idea what to do now..have done oil pan gasket, valley pan gasket, valve cover gaskets, rear main etc..last thing i can think of is oil pressure sender but it doesnt seem to be leaking

I went through the same thing. Mine ended up being a crack in the rear drivers side of the oil pan itself.

I didn't find the crack until I installed the oil turbo drain, and took the pan out to drill/tap for it.

well my leak is even worse now..im down a quart in 3 weeks..just pisses me off..

problem i can see, i stripped the rear 2 bolts somehow..the 2 tiny ones that go all the way through the pan into the rear cover..i had a torque wrench and had it at 177 in lbs or whatever it needed..stripped both of them but they are still "tight" and there are like 4 other bolts around those, plus the 2 that go through the bellhousing, so i cant see that being a problem..time to find a another 6.0 and sell this one for a few bucks..it would be so much easier to swap another motor then try to find this leak lol

It has to be the rear main seal

did you follow the toque sequence and spec when did the oil pan?
