I thought I had a lot at 175k and about to do a cam swap. I use napa oil (cuz I get it from work for free). But I can't kill it.

I just got my father-in-laws 2000 5.3 silverado. It has 223k on the engine and tranny. Hasn't given him any problems so I hope the same for me.

I have a 99 ecsb with 288k on it rignoht now just rebuilt the trans about 10k ago and i am gonna rebuild the motor. it needs thrust bearings so im gonna do a cam since ill have it torn all the way down

oh yea forgot to mention that im still driving it, it has some lifter tap at idle due to lack of oil pressure but runs like notihng is wrong with it
