Does anyone know what equipement is needed from a 89' 1/2ton truck to make it California Smog compliant.. what sensors are there? etc... what inputs are needed to the computer ?

I am gettng a 89 5.7l and will be putting it into my 79' G30 Van... but being in Calif. I need to make sure it passes the smog test.. and there for the 79 Van will need to have all of the equipement from the 89'. So I need to know what to pull from the donner truck.

other than what is on the engine.

just swap over everything from the old motor onto the new one, and you should be go. most smog tecs would not know the difference between the 89 and the 79 motors
