The hardest part of this swap for me was getting the damn lugnuts on. Moser sent me some midget *** studs that are shorter than stock. That combined with lugcentric wheels/shank lug nuts was a royal pita.

Second piggest PITA was getting the snap ring out of my Trutrac. Other than that, the swap was extremely easy.

Yes, the actual work is easy. I just had problems with the parts house giving wrong, mismatched or non-functional parts and also finding a busted posi when opening up the rearend. With all the correct parts in hand, the job wouldn't take more than a couple hours.

One of my calipers from RockAuto was a DUD. No fluid flow through it. I swapped it for another from Advance auto and it worked perfect. So I would avoid getting the AC delco calipers from RockAuto.

On a side note, I'm absolutely loving the ET streets. The ride quality is so vastly improved over my 275/45/20s it's not even funny. And the traction on the street is awesome. I've yet to test them from a dig, but I'm thinking they're going to stick, even on the street.

I got all my parts from AutoZone... first set of rotors, two different designs, same part number on box. One Duralast reman caliper had a blockage which I was able to remedy myself. Had wrong banjo bolts. Then the brake line issue.

That's great to hear about the MT's! I am still trying to decide if I want to use them or the Hoosier radial slick.

I am working on getting mine all hooked up. I hopefully will have some pictures in the next couple of days. I am very pleased with the setup. I got lucky on my rears since they have such a small ID it came out to be an 1/8" clearance between the balancing weight and my calipers. I only had to grind the outside corners where the calipers turn out for some reason.

I think the answer to that comes down to whether or not you plan to street drive the tires at all.

If you're going for a track only tire, I would go with the Hoosier. They're lighter than the MTs and supposedly a tad faster. However, you should also consider the MT ET street pro radial if you dont plan to drive them on the street. I'm very happy with the MTs and upset I even wasted my time with M&Hs.

I really like the look of the hoosier white lettering on the sidewalls of their radials but the MT's have done me good. They hook from a dig on the street with 30psi in the tires. I am only working with a 4.8L so I'm anxious to see how they work out for you 6.0L guys.

I finally got my brake lines finished. I just cut and welded the factory bracket to the top of the axles housing and then just ran a short braided hose from there to the caliper. It all came out fairly nice and I am happy with it.

Glad you got it finished man. I'm interested to see the street lites bolt on all the way around. Definitely one of my favorite set of wheels out there.

Nice! I think that is the same thing I will do with mine. I have all the parts to make new lines so when I remove the calipers to paint them (poor paint job on the Duralast calipers has already rusted thru) I will make the lines and tidy things up.
