If not 13's you will be close, I just got a blackbear tune, i only have 3.73, airaid CAI filter(stock tube) and magnaflow catback.

I ran 14.7 last night in warm weather at 1500ft

So i would think high 13's would be doable with your planned mods

with that set up i think low 14's but thats just my opinion.
you'll for sure be close to 13's

my mods are in my signiture and i can barely break into the high 14.9999 lol,
a 5.3 isn't a huge difference from a 4.8 power wise but the stall will help a lot.

anyways.. theres my 2 cents

actually my 99 4.8 only has 255hp at the flywheel

i think your 05 5.3 should have at minimum 285 but 40-50 more foot pounds of torque
so 13's might be possible for you

13s should be about right. depending on the stall you use. and how blackbear tunes it. im sure they will do a good job as usual. just a guess but id say close to 13.8 give or take a few tenths. depends how good it hooks up at the track. good luck and keep us posted.

Go for the Circle-D 278mm stall. They sell them for $375 shipped and you can not beat them for the money. I'm cutting 1.83 60fts in a SSS that weights about 5500 with me in it. You should see 1.7Xs behind that rcsb 5.3 and just about the same 1/4 mile times...maybe better. I know heads, cam and stall would get you mid-low 12s because I've seen it done.

and you finally joined like i said huh?

you gotta think a lot of these guys go to tracks with high da's were always faster then most tracks besides the valley.

my 05 Extended cab ran 14.7 with intake no muff and a superchips. it ran 14.9 consistent without the superchip and it was a 5.3 with 3.73's

worst comes to worse let me know ill drive it haha jk
