Default 130 amp alternator - same case as 105 amp??

System is draining my current alternator, which is going out anyway, and I know the case is bigger in diameter, but will the 130 amp alternator bolt up the same as the 105 amp. and i noticed on partsamerica.com (advance auto parts) the two alts. have different test charts, so i assuming different connectors, which could be easily changed i would think.

thanks

I bought a used 130amp alternator from a similar truck off eBay for $90. It bolted right up.

I think it is just a bolt in, same connector and all. I do believe you need a longer belt because the bigger case of the alternator moves the pulley further away. I could be wrong, so somebody step in if I am. But, I did look into this myself for my truck, and that is what I came up with.

I had to get a new 6.0 engine belt when going from the 105 to the 130. Very simple install!
