06 silverado P0106 Code coughing white smoke
My truck has been acting sickly lately. I did a couple passes with some nitrous and ever since its been running rough and on startup and acceleration sometimes it will puff a cloud of white smoke. I realize that white smoke is burning antifreeze. I checked the oil and antifreeze. I never noticed that the oil was overly milky but I just glanced at the level. But my antifreeze level is low and I had to add some as there was next to nothing in the overflow. I recently had a cracked plug. Ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I realize its a MAF code. I haven't really narrowed it down to anything yet. I just put on a painful 140km on it, I will go see what the levels are like tommorow. I am just wondering why its running so shitty. Would that be directly related to a leaky head gasket?

The PCM calculates a predicted value for the MAP sensor based on the throttle position (TP) and the engine speed. The PCM then compares the predicted value to the actual MAP sensor signal. If the PCM detects that the MAP sensor signal is not within the predicted range, DTC P0106 sets.
Some aftermarket cams will put the actual MAP sensor readings outside of the predicted values that a stock cam produce. You can adjust the predicted MAP values in the tune or just disable the code. It may or may not have anything to do with the coolant loss issue. You need to data log it to get an accurate diagnosis.
