While my truck is in the body shop and needs a new grille, I would like to have a painted middle peice instead of the chrome. Anyone seen or done this yet? Do the VHO's or come like that.
I will also be getting the side moldings removed and the GMC side moldings put on.

 

I have only seen the SS's with the painted grille???

 

I'm looking at doing this modification as well. You can buy the painted grille bar + grille (It comes as a single piece) from Joe Gibbs Performance:

As well, check the accessories department of your GM dealership. You can just get the SS Silverado grill and put it on your truck. I was going to do that but it was pretty freaking expensive.
